I had been married for 17 years to a beautiful person. Like ; often does people change and drift apart. We are still good friends and she has recently remarried. This is a poem I wrote for her and her new husband.
I had you in my life ,my heart and my soul
Your true happiness was my only goal
They say that when a marriage ends
That it is impossible to remain as friends
Today i value your friendship more valuable than all things
Today I give Best Wishes to both of you -as you exchange rings
I pray today-and rarely do
That all good thing come to both of you
