My Saving Grace

I have moments of fear and all brightness seems black

I am fighting ; I am winning And , I will be back

I have son ; now a young man –but forever MY boy

He’s the light in my darkness –my pride and my joy

When the light at the end of the tunnel

Seems small and dimly lit

My Son will be there; I can count on it

I may have clouds hanging over my head at times through the day

But through trial and error I’ll find my way

I have a son; now a young man –but forever My boy

When I think of him my heart empties of sorrow and gets filled with joy

I love u ! ! (from planet zigzog to mool-moo )

Zigzog and mool-moo were my son's imaginary planets that he used to measure the amount of his love for me. He explained that it is an immeasurable amount. He is now 18 and my shining light in any darkness I may encounter

Voices

There are no voices in my head
Is it because I’m already dead

I Have emotions that bring me so low
I have no other place to go

When the voices go away and in settles calm

I am an emotion wrought ticking bomb

I am at ease when I rest
It seems the time I function best

When I sleep in my bed

If I do not wake up from my slumber
I guess the guy upstairs has called my number

I go through the motions of being “okay”
But I often cry my nights away

It is a quiet place I dwell
Inside my head the voices yell

I hear my self screaming
you’re better off dead !”

But death is what I really dread
When I sleep In my bed

there are no voices in my head
I Know I am breathing but I feel like I’m dead

A Diamond

A diamond may be forever ; but love endures all

It may escape us at times but there’s more to be found

While gemstones may sparkle and often delight

It’s the love that we share that makes us feel right

Love is the most valued of all worldly treasure

Loves true worth you cannot measure

Sky Blue Thoughts Black

The sky is blue; my thoughts are black

I want to be happy; I'll fight my way back

When I lie in bed at night

my head gets filled with thoughts of fright

When I sleep my dreams don't calm me -for I have not dreamt

Can dreams be afraid of the person whos sleeping

Without dreams in my head-the darkness keeps creeping

The Rivers Edge

I sit by the rivers edge

Birds perched on driftwood-seagulls circling overhead

I look out across the distance-my thoughts are filled with dread

Even tho the sun is shining brightly in the sky

My heart feels like everything that matters will die

I have no control of things i can not alter

No matter how hard i try- I always seem to falter

When I Look

When I look into your eyes; we’re very much the same

Although we differ in ages-we have shared similar pain

There is no age where sadness starts to dwell

When outside we are quiet-inside we both do yell

We yell for acceptance in all the things we do

If you don’t judge me- I won’t judge you

I know we sit home at night alone

No ones around- a quiet telephone

They judge me and they judge you

No matter what we choose to do

It seems that no matter what we try

We seem to stay idle as the world passes by

One day when we are famous –they will give us a second glance

When we were “just” us –we never had a chance

When I look into your eyes ; we’re very much the same

LIFE is Worthing living-don’t treat it like a game

"The Soldiers -"Coming Home" review

I have reviewed a few cd’s in the past ; both here and on other sites but today I am reviewing a group unlike any other ; called “The Soldiers” and their single entitled “Coming Home” All three members of the group ; Trooper Ryan Idzi ,24 ; Sergeant Major Gary Chilton,41 and Sergeant Richie Maddocks ,37 are all serving soldiers in the Armed Forces who have witnessed the horrors of war first hand ; from Afghanistan to the Gulf The single “Coming Home” is all about troops proudly returning to the UK after serving overseas. In part ; : music: Jake Hook words: Jeff Chegwin, Jake Hook, Nick Patrick “Every soldier who gave their life lives forever Every soldier who fought the fight, echo’s in our minds All the wounded and the brave The one’s god couldn’t save We salute your courage.” This is a touching tribute to all men and women in the armed services . The trio will make their live debut at the Festival Of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall in London England in November. The debut cd “Coming Home” by Warner Records will be released on October 26 and available on Amazon .
